So we are officially in spooky season and we should celebrate that with… erm… booze. Halloween has become a big deal here and most of us had to embrace it. For those out there hosting a Halloween party and want to spice up their cocktail game, here’s a spooky Halloween Punch. It’s a vibrant and colorful drink that’s perfect for your Halloween party.
Ingredients:
For the punch:
- 2 cups orange juice
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1 cup ginger ale
- 1/2 cup coconut cream
- 1/4 cup grenadine syrup
- 2 oz dark rum (you can remove this for a child-friendly option)
- Crushed ice
For the Garnish:
- Gummy worms or snakes
- Sliced oranges,
- Maraschino cherries
Instructions:
- In a pitcher or punch bowl, mix together the orange juice, pineapple juice, and coconut cream. Stir until well combined.
- Slowly pour in the ginger ale to the mixture, stirring gently to avoid excessive fizzing.
- Add the grenadine syrup to the mix. It will sink to the bottom, creating a vibrant red layer at the base of the drink. Don’t stir it in; let it settle naturally.
- If you’re making an adult version, you can add the dark rum at this point. Adjust the amount to your preference.
- Fill serving glasses with crushed ice.
- Carefully pour the punch over the ice, allowing the red grenadine layer to create a spooky effect at the bottom.
- Garnish each glass with gummy worms or snakes, a slice of orange, and a maraschino cherry.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your Halloween Punch!
