A New Way to Explore the World of Drinks

There’s a lot more to a great drink than what ends up in your glass. Behind every spirit, cocktail, beer, or wine, there’s a story. From the craft and tradition that goes into making it, to the culture and people that bring it to life. That’s exactly what Drinks Explained is here to uncover.

Drinks Explained is a brand-new platform dedicated to exploring the world of alcoholic beverages through engaging content, events, tastings and storytelling that make drink culture accessible to everyone. Whether you’re curious about cocktails, fascinated by the history of spirits, or simply enjoy discovering something new to drink, Drinks Explained is designed to bring the stories, flavours and experiences behind the world of booze to life.

The project is the result of a continued collaboration between Cavemen Studios and Twist Events Malta, combining years of experience in media production, storytelling, entertainment and live events. By bringing together Cavemen Studios’ background in creative content and Twist Events’ expertise in designing interactive experiences, Drinks Explained aims to deliver both engaging digital content and memorable real-world events centred around drink culture.

At the heart of Drinks Explained are three distinct personalities, each bringing their own perspective and taste to the table.

Matthew represents the straight-talking enthusiast. He’s passionate about great drinks across the board but has a particular love for beer and whisky. Expect honest reviews, distillery visits and deep dives into how drinks are actually made, always with his signature no-nonsense caveman style.

Sander brings a more classical perspective. With a deep appreciation for whisky and a natural comedic flair, he dives into the history, tradition, and craftsmanship behind some of the world’s most iconic spirits while still being open to exploring new and unexpected flavours.

Casey represents the energetic, modern side of drinking culture. Her content focuses on cocktails, clear spirits and seasonal drinks, delivering punchy, fast-paced content designed to inspire a new generation of drinkers to experiment and enjoy what’s in their glass.

Together, the trio will create a mix of entertaining and educational content, sometimes individually and sometimes together, exploring everything from quick cocktail ideas to blind tastings, drink challenges and behind-the-scenes visits to the places where great drinks are made.
